Meet Mrs B!!!Welcome! My name is Margaret Broersma, but my students call me Mrs. B. I am a graduate of Union University where I received a B.A. in Theater and my M.Ed. I absolutely love theatre and have over 29 years of experience ranging from acting, directing, costuming, and set work in various venues from Chattanooga to Jackson. My favorite performances include The Sound of Music, Zombies from the Beyond, The Mousetrap, Miracle on 34th Street, Bang, Bang You're Dead, Soft Soap, The Grinch and CLUE. I have lots of stories and experiences to help my students achieve all that they can. I love watching my students grow doing what they enjoy.

I love teaching students to enjoy the theater both as a participant and as an observer. While I love performing, I love working with my students even more. I am constantly amazed at my students' creativity and the talents they bring to class. No matter how crazy my day gets, seeing my students always puts a smile on my face. I believe that classes should be fun! Students cannot learn when they are bored. I try to use as many different opportunities for my students to learn as possible by pulling in new technology and hands on activities. I believe that all students need a creative outlet in which to express themselves. Not only does it help them discover more about themselves, but it helps to expand their horizons and appreciate the abilities of others.
Feel free to drop by and visit class anytime. Parents are always welcome. I look forward to meeting you and having a wonderful year!

Quotes:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. - Doctor Seuss One hundred years from now, Nothing can stop a man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. |
